A Note to My Readers, and Hello to North Bergen

Periodically I like to reach out to my faithful readers and thank them for their presence. There are a lot of blogs and social media posts that you could be reading, but you have chosen this blog to be part of your regular reading, and I deeply appreciate that!

I can see trends in where my readers come from, and often that is dictated by the algorithms that push this blog, and others, to various media. For example, I have been heartened by the huge increase in my readers from China and Southeast Asia. How cool!

I have also missed some of my regulars, such as my North Bergen, New Jersey friends. I know you are out there, and when I visit New York City this December, I would love to meet some of you North Bergen faithful! That being said, I welcome your feedback in the comments section, and I will try to respond to every comment.

I do want to leave you with some thoughts for the day, as embodied in quotes from some of my  favorite quotable people:

“The two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why.”                                                                                                                                                     Mark Twain

“Things turn out best for the people who make the best of the way things turn out.”                             John Wooden

Courage is what it takes to stand up and speak; courage is also what it takes to sit down and  listen

Winston Churchill
